On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Arcata High School standout Merek Sears’ current college team, the UT Arlington Mavericks, lost 19-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The game took place at O’Brate Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cowboys this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24 at 4 p.m. at O’Brate Stadium against Oklahoma State Cowboys.
