On Thursday, Feb. 27, former Fortuna Union High School standout Cole Ayala’s current college team, the Montana State Billings Yellowjackets, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.

The game took place at The Diamond at The Bus Bergman Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Yellowjackets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 12 p.m. at The Diamond at The Bus Bergman Sports Complex against Colorado Mesa Mavericks.
