On Friday, Jan. 31, former Fortuna Union High School standout Cole Ayala’s current college team, the Montana State Billings Yellowjackets, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Cal State East Bay Pioneers.

The game took place at Pioneer Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Yellowjackets’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 11 a.m. at Pioneer Baseball Field against Cal State East Bay Pioneers.
