Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of gunfire on the 4900 block of Alto Street in Eureka late on November 12. The incident involved an unknown suspect firing multiple shots into a residence.

This event follows a similar occurrence on November 6, when shots were fired into another dwelling on the same street, specifically in the 4800 block. Bullet casings were discovered at both scenes during initial investigations.

The Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating these incidents to determine if they are connected. While there were no injuries reported, property damage was sustained.
