Rep. Jared Huffman, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 2nd district, has been vocal on social media regarding recent political events. On February 6, 2025, he shared his thoughts on Twitter concerning the National Prayer Breakfast and other issues.

On February 6, Rep. Huffman criticized Speaker Johnson’s organization of the National Prayer Breakfast, describing it as “yet another example of MAGA Republicans taking a sledgehammer to the wall between church and state.” He invited followers to join him in protest against this event. Later that day, Huffman expressed his disapproval of Elon Musk with a succinct tweet stating: “None of us hired him, but we sure as hell have to #FireElonMusk.” This statement can be accessed here.

In another post on February 6, Rep. Huffman elaborated on his concerns about the National Prayer Breakfast being moved into the U.S. Capitol by Speaker Johnson and his supporters.
