On Tuesday, March 25, former Arcata High School standout Merek Sears’ current college team, the UT Arlington Mavericks, lost 13-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Baylor Bears.
The game took place at Baylor Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at Clay Gould Ballpark against California Baptist Lancers.
