On Tuesday, April 15, former Arcata High School standout Merek Sears’ current college team, the UT Arlington Mavericks, lost 9-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Baylor Bears.
The game took place at Clay Gould Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Bears this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 6 p.m. at Clay Gould Ballpark against Abilene Christian Wildcats.
