Rep. Jared Huffman, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 2nd district since 2013, addressed a range of policy topics in a series of posts on social media this week.

On October 13, Huffman highlighted the ongoing challenges faced by Native American tribes in local governance, stating, “Too often, tribes are left out of important decision-making in our communities. On #IndigenousPeoplesDay, I remain committed to supporting policies that uphold their sovereignty, protect tribal lands, and advance tribal programs.”

The following day, on October 14, Huffman emphasized the importance of accessible health care, writing, “Your story matters. It’s the reason we’re in this fight: to make sure that no one goes without quality, affordable health care because of Republicans’ greed. Later that same day, Huffman referenced developments concerning hostages with a brief statement: “My statement regarding the release of the remaining hostages: https://t.co/fCMsOYmKuj”
