On Saturday, March 1, former Arcata High School standout Merek Sears’ current college team, the UT Arlington Mavericks, lost 12-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Houston Cougars.
The game took place at Clay Gould Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Cougars this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 1 p.m. at Clay Gould Ballpark against Houston Cougars.
