On Saturday, March 15, former Arcata High School standout Merek Sears’ current college team, the UT Arlington Mavericks, lost 12-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Little Rock Trojans.
The game took place at Gary Hogan Field. This was their second matchup against the Trojans this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at Gary Hogan Field against Little Rock Trojans.
