On April 26, deputies from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on a residence in the 1500 block of Murray Road, McKinleyville. This property has been the focus of multiple community complaints, prompting two searches since the beginning of the year. The latest search led to the arrest of 15 individuals.

Aaron Stott, 46, the homeowner, faces several criminal charges, including possession of Fentanyl for sales (H&S 11351), maintaining a drug house (H&S 11366(a)), destruction of evidence (PC 135), and committing a felony while out on bail (PC 12022.1). Stott had previously been arrested for similar offenses in January during a prior search of the same residence.

The other 14 people found at the property were detained for violations concerning being present where drugs are used or sold (H&S 11365). The case is now with the Humboldt District Attorney’s Office for prosecution and will also be reviewed by Humboldt County Code Enforcement for additional issues found on the property.

The Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone with further information related to the case or other criminal activities to contact them at (707) 445-7251 or through the Crime Tip line at (707) 268-2539.
