The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office issued a reminder to the public concerning the ongoing search for Luis Carlos Silva, who went missing on March 2, 2023. The 51-year-old resident of McKinleyville, Ca., was reported missing by his family on March 7, 2023. Described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 175 pounds, with brownish gray hair, a beard, and hazel eyes, Luis is believed to be missing under unknown circumstances.
The Sheriff’s Office emphasized the importance of public assistance in locating Luis, stating, "This is a just reminder to the public that the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office still needs the public’s help to locate Luis Carlos Silva." They further urged anyone with information on Luis’ whereabouts to contact the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office at (707) 445-7251.
Alongside the statement, a photo of Luis Silva taken in February 2023 was released to aid in the search efforts.
