Jared Huffman, a U.S. Congressman representing California's 2nd district since 2013, recently took to social media to share his thoughts and activities in Washington, D.C. On March 5, 2025, he made several posts on X (formerly Twitter), addressing current political events and inviting the public to join him for live discussions.

In a post dated March 5, 2025, Huffman expressed confusion about the happenings in Washington, D.C., announcing an Instagram Live session with fellow representatives Greg Stanton and Mike Levin. He invited followers to tune in for the "#WTFShow" hosted by House Democrats at 3:30 PM PT/6:30 PM ET. "WTF is happening in DC? My roommates @RepGregStanton, @RepMikeLevin, and I will tell you tonight at 3:30pm PT/6:30pm ET on @HouseDemocrats #WTFShow. Tune in on Instagram Live @RepHuffman!"

Later that day, Huffman criticized former President Trump's address to Congress, accusing him of spreading falsehoods and threats. He explained his decision to walk out during the speech and provided a link for further insights into his perspective. "All Trump did in his address to Congress last night was spew lies and threats. Here are some of my thoughts and why I ended up walking out:"

Subsequently, Huffman reminded his audience of the upcoming live session with Stanton and Levin on Instagram Live. He encouraged followers to join them for updates from Washington, D.C., emphasizing their readiness to engage with viewers directly through the platform.
