To ensure public and firefighter safety, the U.S. Forest Service will temporarily close all roads, trails, and land within the area impacted by the Hill Fire on the Lower Trinity Ranger District of the Six Rivers National Forest starting Thursday, July 18, 2024. This closure also applies to East Fork Campground and Big Rock River Access.

Community members seeking evacuation information or with questions related to the Hill Fire can call 707-268-2500 but should only call 9-1-1 for immediate emergencies.

Humboldt County residents are encouraged to know their evacuation zones and sign up for Humboldt Alert for local emergency notifications regarding evacuations and emergency sheltering during wildfire or other emergencies.
