Jared Huffman, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 2nd district since 2013, has taken to social media to express his concerns regarding actions and policies affecting his constituents and broader national issues. Huffman, who succeeded Lynn Woolsey, is actively involved in addressing what he perceives as detrimental initiatives led by prominent figures.

On March 27, 2025, Congressman Huffman shared his concerns over the impacts of certain actions by Trump and Musk across communities located along the North Coast, stating that "Every day, Trump and Musk's schemes are impacting people and communities up and down the North Coast. Here are some of their stories…".

Later that day, Huffman criticized the focus of House Republicans on bills relating to a Mount Rushmore remodel, stating in another post that "House Republicans are wasting our time in Congress on bills to remodel Mount Rushmore in homage to Trump. On #TheFlipSide, I'm leading efforts to protect our public lands and push back against Trump and Musk's illegal actions."

The following day, on March 28, 2025, Huffman raised concerns about labor rights, following a decision by Trump to alter union rights for federal workers. He described the action, writing "Last night, Trump stripped union rights from every federal worker. This move is straight out of his Project 2025 playbook to gut the American labor movement, take control of the government, and cut public services — and Democrats will fight back with every tool."
